Naruko style kokeshi こけし (wooden doll) by 伊藤松一 Itou Shouichi (1924-2019). Originating in the mid to late Edo Period (1603-1868) kokeshi are regional folk crafts, traditionally from 温泉 onsen (hot-spring) communities where visitors would often purchase them as a reminder of their stay.
