Boro ぼろ fabric piece, possibly from a futonji (futon cover). Boro is a Japanese form of recycling where patches are placed on the inside to stabilize a textile for further use. After years of patchwork an unintentional yet beautiful pattern emerges.

As with many vintage pieces, this may have imperfections such as repaired tears, fraying, and other signs of age. This is part of what makes it a lovely & unique piece!
