Blockprint fabrics start with intricately hand carved wood blocks, which are then dipped into either ink or dye. The block is then pressed to the surface of the fabric to create the individual designs, and stamped multiple times to create the repeat. Then a brass block is used to apply fine detail, distinct to Moghul printing. Blockprint fabric can feature one or many colors. This fabric is suitable for quilting, apparel, or light use home decor.
